Do you plan to communicate during your class with someone outside of your FSU
Technology-Enhanced Classroom (TEC)
this school year? The regular version of Skype for Desktop is available on all TEC PCs and MACs at FSU allowing
you to do videoconferencing to an off-campus site that also has Skype. At any TEC PC just click the Microsoft
icon in the lower left corner of the desktop and then scroll to the right until you find Skype for Desktop.
Skype is also available on the Macintosh Dock or in the Applications folder.
Faculty and their departments must provide their own webcam and microphone for off-campus communications
with Skype. Any plug-and-play camera works best. Support from Microsoft is available
here.
Skype for Business 2015 (formerly Microsoft Lync) is available for on-campus communications between FSU offices.
